Romflix lakka

Hi Guys

Don’t know if you’ve seen it yet but romflix is taking over. But I was wondering Will there be a version of romflix like lakka? Or the same ui in lakka?

We will never bundle illegal ROM downloaders with RetroArch/Lakka.

Doing that would put a person, team or company in some seriously deep $#!+.

@tris20 did you mean Lakka with the look/style of romflix? (Without the copyright issues)

Romflix is a version of kodi afaik

Yes yes o man yes only the look and feel. Not the illegal stuff. I hate illegal things with gaming. Every game I have is original. Sorry for the mis interpretation wasn’t my intention.

No just the look and feel of it I really like it. That’s the only thing I miss about lakka the menu is not like retropie or like this.

Really it’s only if someone was to put the effort in and make a version. I’m guessing it’s kinda hard to code this stuff into Libretro and all the artwork that needs creating is a big task. (There’s very few art people in this community)

Ah that’s to bad then.

So since this is the first time I’m hearing about it, I tried Romflix. It’s a Kodi + EmulationStation mashup with a delivery vehicle for ROMs and ISOs.

Still, yeah, I can see the appeal (aside from the obvious). But to be honest, I still prefer Lakka’s front end and accessibility to options on the fly, and the fact that controller configuration is automatic and universal across the board (can’t say that with Retropie for $#!+).

Yeah, I wound up erasing Romflix. The libraries are incomplete (No SF2 Turbo for SNES, come on man, what’s THAT about?!?!), the N64 game extension is incompatible with the emulator and just a whole bunch of other things. A week’s worth of work on a Raspberry Pi 3 too, flushed down the drain. Not too upset about it though.
