ROMS wont load

Sorry for the second post before my first on has been answered, but I am just trying to do some testing. I have loaded a MAME and a NES ROM…try both are recognized and show up in the playlist. However when I hit RUN, the screen goes to the Lakka splash screen and holds there- forever. I have powered down to stop the process after minute, five minutes ten minutes, doesn’t matter.

Of note I have the ROMS on a USB flash drive if that matters and when I try to power I do get a message saying failed unmounting Cores directory

I am having this exact same issue. I had my computer running lakka perfectly, then i moved it to another TV, and now I am experiencing this issue. I start the rom and it sits on the lakka berry logo… forever.

After countless hours I reread through this thread and noticed HarfTarf stated his problem started when switching tvs. I’ve been doing the setup on a computer monitor with lots of issues. I connected it to the livingroom TV and everything works perfectly.
