RPI controller/Interface issues?

Hi all,

Just installed this on my raspberry pi and it seems to be running great! Good job to all involved, it’s just what I’ve been looking for.

I seem to be having some issues with the interface. I’m using a Saitek P2600 controller (which it recognises fine), and in the GUI menu, if I press the (I think) Y button, I get stuck on a screen that says “Search:” and I can’t seem to do anything to get out of it, short of pulling the plug and rebooting. Also, I can’t work out how to do stuff like freeze states etc. I guess this problem might be because the controller lacks the middle X button of the x-box controller. The docs say I can substitute this with an ‘L3+R3 combo’, but the pad only has L1/L2/R1/R2. Any Ideas?

Thanks

Marc

Yeah, getting stuck in the search box is a known issue that’s currently being resolved. It should be fixed in an upcoming release.

L3/R3 are the analog stick clicks (press them straight into the controller). Generally, though, you can just map those functions to whatever buttons you like in settings > input settings.

How can I configure a combination of buttons instead of just one? Thanks

There is no way to do that for now in RA. This feature request have been filled in the issue tracker iirc.
