Shaders not working properly on Linux

Hi people,

I’m trying Retroarch on Linux Mint 13, and the only thing that’s keeping me from using it as my main version is this:

The dmg shaders are not working properly. I can hear the game, and the keys respond, but the green png blocks the view.

The same set of shaders loaded on retroarch for windows work like a charm.

I have an nvidia GTX560 and the latest drivers installed. There is no other problem present aside from this one.

Does anyone know what the hell is happening here?

I don’t think there’s actually is any green png that could be covering things up. The gameboy frame is blank in the middle and there aren’t any images that are green like that, so something else is amiss.

Are other shaders, such as the regular gameboy shader, working properly?

Nope, same problem. Just the green layer over everything.

Edit: I’m getting rid off Mint in favour of Ubuntu. Let’s see if that fixes it.

Sorry for taking so long, but after going trough several debian based distributions, it turns out it’s just a drivers related problem.

I’ve finally settled with Mint 16, and after activating the propietary drivers and gathering every single dependence now it works flawlessly.

Just wanted to tell that I solved it and how, so if anyone has this same problem with Ubuntu 12 or Mint 13, upgrade and recompile.

Ah, cool. Thanks for the update.
