SNES games are slow

Hello, i’m trying to play SNES games on my laptop and it’s slow. I changed core and it still the same problem. I don’t know what to do. I don’t think it’s my laptop the problem because i used to play SNES games on peppermint linux without problems.

This is my specs: Hp mini 210-1000 Processor: 1.6GHz Intel Atom N450 RAM: 2GB 800MHz DDR2 SSD hard drive

Hello, try to reboot and start directly using snes9x-next instead of bsnes. There is a bug in the menu where the last core emulating the same system will be remembered and used in place of the new core.
