Hi,after trying to edit mudlords noise shader,I decided to mess with it in order to produce something that is high res and true to the original but without scan lines and for some reason I got some results that I personally like and Im gonna use. Some even make some games more 3dish like they pop out a lot more. It’s still a work in progress, only the bnes accuracy shader is kinda ready but if people are interested I could upload them. They are edits of mudlord’s noise shader though, the code is not original, just some changes here and there and lot’s of tinkering with the values. But I have some issues that I can’t overcome at the moment, especially regarding a 3d like shader I’m trying to make with moving pixels.
Well,I’m gonna post the “3d” shader, please test it out and if anyone can help me that would be awesome. The cg file is a mess atm though.I tested this on mgba and for snes I used bsnes accurate 5x scale. You can see the problem after a few minutes, the pixels turn around constantly until they become thick black lines and then the screen goes black and the process is reversed. But for 1-2 minutes works fine.I’m gonna post vids here as well.[Unfortunately yt compresses the video so its not as visible as it should but anyway here is a very short sample.
Here is a video of Sonic 1.My pc cant handle fraps recording. It looks amazing though!
edit:I think I fixed it so I’ll upload the new shader soon](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=roGhsLF-8Lo)
