Uh wtf happened?

So today this morning I decided to update to the latest Lakka build through the online updater. I also updated Reicast and decided to fire it up and see if there were any improvements. It freezes, fine I’ve been through that before and just shut the computer off. But now it won’t boot up into Lakka at all anymore, just shows a blank screen. I can’t even access the computer through SSH now. Um, what the hell happened?

Good thing I have a backup hard drive with Lakka already installed with all my games and save files since I really didn’t want to go through the inconvenience of reinstalling and uploading all my games again, it also would’ve sucked to lose my save files. It’s a smaller hard drive though.

Same problem here…

Damn. Am I going to have to just reinstall Lakka completely? Luckily I have a cloned hard drive with an earlier version with all my roms and save files (albeit older save files) on it, I may just put that in for now until this issue is resolved.

Please check this.

I just realized I was actually downgrading instead of updating, I thought the updates on the top of the list in the online updater menu were the latest, but now I know it’s the ones on the bottom.

This seems to have changed over the last couple of weeks. Was confused as well. Honestly, I liked it better before to have the latest version on top and selected by default. But that might be only me.

No I’m with you on that, I didn’t know they changed it because yeah I do remember updating from the top of the list before. I don’t get why they would change that. It seems more logical to me that the latest update be on the top imo.
