I’m running 64-bit Lakka on a Dell laptop - I installed Lakka on it about three weeks ago and it is running great! I’ve been upgrading to the latest builds via USB and using the updater image file. I’m now updated to the May 1st, 2016 build (love the blue background!!). At some point should I do a complete reinstall of Lakka from “Get Lakka” or is there any real reason to do this vs. continuing to upgrade the system the way I’ve been doing it?
It’s good at some point to at least reset your retroarch.cfg
Thanks. Is the latest version of Lakka always present when downloading from the main “Get Lakka” page? Couldn’t I also just delete the retroarch.cfg file and reboot to reset the file?
Last question - would you recommend that I “fresh install” now vs. waiting for a few more builds to come out?

I can tell you the latest version (i installed directly from within lakka) has many new little changes that give it more “eye candy”, and more important, functionality. To answer your questions, afaik, the “get lakka” page should always have the latest stable release, and if you have ssh access, you can stop the retroarch service, rename/delete retroarch.cfg, restart the service, done ssh to stop/restart retroarch > systemctl stop retroarch /systemctl start retroarch
Hope this helps
