Scanned across a psp rom but whenever I try to play it, the pc goes to sleep, this also happens with N64 roms. Using Lakka 64 bit, have tried this on various system (Intel and AMD), with the release build of Lakka and the latest nightly with no luck and I am completely stumped. I have the PSP file (ppge_atlas.zim) in system/ppsspp and I have also tried it just in system, to no avail. I know the ROM is good because I use it on two other systems using ppsspp with hyperspin as the frontend and in any case, I have tried other ROMs with the same reaction. Any ideas?
Those two cores have something in common, they are GL cores.
On the hardware I use to test Lakka, those cores work well.
Except on 32bit, where mupen will fail. Are you using a 32bit image?
As I stated in the original post, I’m using the 64 bit image. I am already well aware of the problems with N64 and 32bit as I have Lakka running older systems on a Samsung NC10. Tried with the latest release and the nightly’s but having no luck whatsoever. I’m fairly well versed in emulation and work in IT but this has me completely stumped. Think I will give up on Lakka and newer systems for now and check back in on it when it has had time to mature and the documentation is better.
Ok, you can also try the cores from the libretro buildbot.
And youre sure its not the roms?? Because the n64 stuff was drag and drop working flawless for me. I had more issues getting the NES stuff to work properly.
It ended up being the roms… even though they worked on other emulators they just behaved awkward within lakka. I tried 3 different sets of NES roms. Finally found one pack that ran smooth…
I would suggest trying another dump of roms.
Or sometimes the retroarch config file gets funky… Ive had to erase it and let it load the generic config like 5 times haha
Both N64 and PSP works with Lakka (12/17/15) with Intel graphics card.
Which part of the documentation is not clear so that we can make it better ?
