Wetek Play: Playstation 2 Controller doesn't work - maybe adapter prob

Hi,

I installed Lakka on my Wetek Play (SD card). Was easy  Boots to a screen which looks like a menu but no input works. Neither wireless mouse nor the original remote control.

I made the ssh server boot and successfully guessed the root password. But I don’t find any logs except dmesg.

Now I bought a cheap Chinese USB adapter and fetched a used Playstation 2 controller (Dualshock 2). The guide requires input. Wait… I should try a keyboard… Haven’t got a USB keyboard…

So while I am searching for a USB keyboard, are there any other inputs that should work but don’t?

thanks

So… Found an old Mac keyboard, works. But when I try to map any buttons to the Playstation controller, nothing happens. Ehm… do I need anything else? There is a red light when the adapter is plugged in…

So the device should be available. Anything else missing?

The device doesn’t work on the PC either. Going to ask supplier why…

Tried evtest (on the PC) and did not get any events.
