WiFi Network Dongle Compatibility

Hi all, I have successfully installed Lakka on a PC box (similar to a NUC). Everything works smoothly excluding the WiFi. Under WiFi I can see only a network with a strange Chinese character. Tried the steps to enable WiFi manually through SSH but there is no way to start the WiFi. Is it there possible to have a list of compatible Wifi Chipsets? I’ve tried with two dongles with no success

  • Realtek 8812BU

How did you access via SSH ? LAN ? I have found one cheap generic no label WIFI dongle that worked, I cant get the built in WIFI to work on anything so far, trying on a surface pro 4 at the moment and that doesn’t work either, same results as you.
