With the latest update of Lakka I found a couple of errors

With the latest update of Lakka I found a couple of errors. There are two situations: the n64 emulator does not load any games and the videos do not play, they cause the system to freeze. I’m using a Raspberry pi 3b. Has anything similar happened to anyone?

Can you give us logs of the N64 core? Which one are you using?

Also what do you mean by “videos”?

I have no way of connecting to Lakka, internet connection issues. The emulator I used was mupen64plus-Next, it doesn’t open any games. Video: ogg, mpge, mp4, etc. If anyone can check the error and share the log please.

I don’t see any error on your logs, what happens exactly when you try to run a game?

Simply doesn’t open the game, Mupen64plus - next says: Error loading the game. The videos: appear in black and from there, the system freezes, finally parallel reaches the logo of lakka before opening the game, there the system freezes.

I’m sorry I can’t make myself understood, I recorded some videos, but I can’t upload them right now.

Also I’ll mention 1 pi is overclocked and the other is at factory settings.

Finally found someone with the same issue I’m having. After the update Mupen64plus - Next stopped working (just restarts retroarch main menu). ParaLLel-N64 will freeze within a half second and restart to retroarch main menu. The old Mupen64Plus is the only core that works at all. Tested all cores on Mario 64 (used to work on all cores), and Pilot Wings 64 (only ever worked on ParaLLel-N64. Tested on 2 micro sd cards and 2 Raspberry Pi 3 b+

I ended up finding out how to revert back to the previous version of lakka and the 2 N64 cores work once again. Its a bit of a process but it saved me from having to reformat the SD card and start fresh.

To be safe, before starting backup any files on the raspberry pi to your PC such as save files, controller configs, etc. I didn’t experience any issues during this procedure but better safe than sorry.

First go to 'https://www.lakka.tv/get/linux/rpi2/ where the Lakka .img file is downloaded. Next right-click the download button and select copy link address. the address is 'http://le.builds.lakka.tv/RPi2.arm/Lakka-RPi2.arm-2.3.2.img.gz Paste the address in a new tab and change the 2.3.2 to 2.3.1 Like This: 'http://le.builds.lakka.tv/RPi2.arm/Lakka-RPi2.arm-2.3.1.img.gz this will download the previous version from 9-20-2019 . with the Raspberry Pi on and connected to your internet connection using the same procedure used to add games to the Pi 3 B+ sd card (over a network connection by typing '\\lakka\ on your computers file explorer) copy the .img file into the updates folder. Reboot the raspberry pi and it will update to the previous version. I had to reboot a second time to refresh everything and also reassigned any N64 cores I had messed with before downgrading to the previous version of lakka. After that the 2 N64 cores worked again, the 3rd newly added core was gone and i was happy once more.
