Xbox 360 wired controller doesn't work

I’ve just installed Lakka on my Allwinner Orange Pi PC and now I can’t get the wired Xbox 360 controller attached through USB to work. I’m greeted with the Retroarch menu after boot, but I can’t navigate it in any way. The controller’s ring is flashing, indicating the system doesn’t detect it. I managed to enable ssh through boot parameters, this is the dmesg output on controller connection:

[ 68.073735] usb 7-1: new full-speed USB device number 2 using ohci-platform
[ 68.365224] usb 7-1: New USB device found, idVendor=045e, idProduct=028e
[ 68.365243] usb 7-1: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3
[ 68.365253] usb 7-1: Product: Controller
[ 68.365262] usb 7-1: Manufacturer: ©Microsoft Corporation
[ 68.365270] usb 7-1: SerialNumber: 2142521

Any clues on how to proceed?

Try with a keyboard. Go to INPUT and then configure the controller in “… BINDS 1 …”
