Speaking of the 240p test suite, you can now download it for various platforms in RetroArch’s “add content” menu.

It’d also be nice if we could identify which shaders are Radeon-unfriendly, so AMD users like myself don’t have to guess at what we can and can’t use. In any case, thank you for all your hard work!
From what I gather it seems the ones that have been causing people problems is the blurs shaders, the tough part is so many of my settings rely on them to achieve the desired effect, i’ll see if I can find time to experiment with alternates like maybe the various bilinear filters to achieve a similiar look but that might play better with Radeons.
I tried this shader at work and I’m really impressed! Really amazing shaders.
Then I’ve tried them at home with an Intel HD Graphics 4000 and I can’t get the same results. I’m new to shaders so I have a couple of questions if someone could asnwer…
Is my graphic card compatible with cg shaders? I’ve read that cg shaders are from nvidia? And the other questions is, is there any way to be able to use this shader in my home computer with my Intel card? Or the only way is changing the card?
Thanks in advance!
Intel HD are mostly shit so… yeah… only good for office use
Hehehe, yes, now I have an excuse Thanks.
I wish I could check these out but for whatever reason the color is really messed up. Looks nothing like the screens do. Any idea what’s going on? Had this problem with the last pack too.
EDIT: better images http://imgur.com/a/99O2n
Which shaders are those?
The top is Trinitron Composite and I believe the bottom is Diamondglass RGB. Consistent problem with all the shaders I’ve tried.
I think that scaling/screen resolution is the problem… but overall i also dont like RGB shaders in this pack…
I do not understand. How is it used?
I can’t tell you how happy I am that we finally have a proper RF signal shader. Yeah, call me weird for wanting that, but that’s how I remember playing Mega Man X.
Hi guys, I’m running Retroarch on OSX on a MacBookPro with an Nvidia card. Even though I’m able to load the CGP shaders that come pre-loaded in the app, I can’t seem to load the shaders in this pack. This is the error that I’m getting :
RetroArch [INFO] :: Loading Cg shader: “/Users/christian/Games/EMUS/Analog Shader Pack version 3/Arcade monitors - Horizontal/31khz Bloomed/…\shaders_cg\Analog Shader Pack\COMPONENT\linearize.cg”. Do any of them work? Or do they all fail with the same error?
The Boob Tube shader would’ve been good enough for me if it wasn’t so damn dark. Still, much thanks for this enormous work.
Pack is made for windows. Linux does not work
Hi there HunterK !
Yes, they all fail at loading linearize.cg, which is funny because I can load crt-lottes-multipass.cgp like this

Is there a handheld out now that can run most of these? For me thats the holy grail.
The Boob Tube shader with a composite output is almost perfect to me except it’s too dark.
I can’t tell you how happy I am that we finally have a proper RF signal shader. Yeah, call me weird for wanting that, but that’s how I remember playing Mega Man X. :p
I don’t think that’s weird.
I played on RF input from NES up until X360. I was under the impression it was better 'cause it screwed in… oh what an ignorant little child I was lol
If people are in agreement I can make a side version with a brighter gamma across the board, personally I find the 320px NTSC screenshot washed out with a dark grey BG instead of a true black and the color doesn’t pop, but to each their own.
It would be very, very kind of you if you’d make a brighter version of the Boob Tube shader, which seems pretty accurate when I compare it to my CRT TV, except the gamma. In bright and colorful games like Crash Bandicoot it looks great, but in darker ones such as Alien: Resurrection or Nightmare Creatures II it’s way too dark. I would like to change the settings myself to not bother you, I just need to know which ones, as there are many different lines in shader parameters.
