No need to be sorry. That was why I mentioned the length of the post… I don’t expect anyone to read the entire thing before posting.
The reason I don’t do arcade is the vast amount of games available… there are thousands.
If no one else picks up the gauntlet, there may be a distant future where I do manufacturer customizations for my MAME cabinet graphic.
I would prefer that some other artist took advantage of the work I did preparing the preset.
The arcade presets are just a matter of cut and paste, mostly. I use a slightly modified version of Duimon’s Arcade Originals and then paste in the MAME World artwork. It took some time, but anyone can do it.
I don’t want to confuse anyone. My Arcade Originals have nothing at all to do with the Mega Bezel.
I was talking about my MAME Cabinet presets and graphics.
Whoops… sorry…
I have been having a particularly energizing conversation on a different thread, trying to give support for someone using the eXoDOS collection in DOSBox Pure.
It occurred to me that my very first graphics contribution to the emulation scene was a gift to eXo in 2007.
A 3dsmax rendering of a broken floppy disk.
I suppose, the Interwebs being what they are, it is still floating in the ether somewhere.
It is a 320x240 rendering. How’s this for a full circle shot?
On beetle psx you can downsample from, for example, 2x or even 8x to 1x. Works well for 3D games.
Is there any possibility of doing some bezels? like Sufami Turbo or Satellaview, or even Alt versions of Sega Mega Drive with Genesis model look alike?
Probably not the Genesis, but at least one of the others is on my future list.
I am in the middle of a Vintage TV project, and currently working on the Mega Bezel website, so any new console graphics are not happening soon.
I was on my phone and neglected to welcome you to the forum.
Welcome!
I use my Genesis graphic for the SegaCD and 32x and have Megadrive alternates for all three. I also have versions that feature both the 32x and CD. This make eight graphics for the entire set.
What exactly were you looking for that is not there?
Sorry to nudge, I was curious if you’d had a chance to create this yet? Thanks!
No I have not.
It should be pretty easy though. I will do it right now.
Here is what I came up with.
I’ve got everything updated locally. I will try to update the repo and release tonight but in the morning if not.
Looks amazing, thanks so much for your efforts as always!
Amazing again ! thank you so much Duimon for sharing
The Potato repo is also updated.
Changes:
Added NDS hybrid layout.
Added missing NDS DREZ in the Params folder.
Fixed Atari 800 Black Edge Corner Radius.

The link to the current releases are in the first post. Installation/Update instructions are near the end of the second.
Hello everyone,
I often have a crash (blue screen) WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR under windows 10 x64 when I play with a shader crt normal slang, or bezel. This often happens when I activate the shader, at which point I can play and once I quit the game to launch another game (with the shader activated) I get the crash. Apart from the shader, when it’s deactivated I don’t have any problems, the games all launch, I’m often on Vulkan when launching shaders or open gl.
The smallest solution I’ve found is to deactivate the shader when I’ve finished playing, so that I can restart it and move on to another game, where I activate the shader for the current game and then deactivate it when I’ve finished playing.
I’ve tested my memory bars, cpu, gpu, everything is clean and works perfectly.
Do you have a solution to this problem? Where does the problem come from, or has anyone experienced this kind of thing? Can precise settings for the shader in the emulator help?
Thanks in advance!
Have you tested your power supply?
Thanks for your help, I had carried out a few tests on my power supply RM1000X corsair, I tested the capacity of my power supply via benchmarks such as occt, and benchmark overlay, I have no problems in my games, it runs like clockwork.
I use the “MBZ__0__SMOOTH-ADV-SCREEN-ONLY__GDV.slangp” shader exclusively.
it really happens at the time of shader switching during the retroarch session when i switch between two games. retroarch launches shader on startup, i’d have to find a way to avoid an automatic shader startup and select it only when i launch a game.
I use the same shader for a few games on ps2, ps1, saturn, N64.
I also have these same games on their individual emulators like pcsx2, etc… I tested the integrated crt on these emulators like tv shader from pcsx2 and I have no problems at launch and also in the games.
That error is usually hardware related.
You can try running WhoCrashed to see if it gives you a clue to a software/driver error.
Any chance you are storing your roms on an external drive?
