You’ll be happy to know then, that the presets use separate backgrounds for horizontal and vertical.
MAME, FB-Neo, and Arcade.
BTW. Nice to see you around my friend. You have been missed.

BTW. What do you think of the T-molding in the MAME graphic. Back when I first did this I said some things were impossible in vector. Turns out I just needed more practice.
It’s not actually T-molding but edge trim. I treated this like it was a hardwood cabinet, so it has features that are impossible with plywood or OSB, like the panel insets.
I think it seems wonderful to me, it is that if it is not for the mount I cannot do what I wanted to do, a magnificent job, I had not seen the fonts folder and it surprised me, I did not think there was so much work behind it, I was able to open Some things with photoshop and it surprised me, before I could not because I used the CS2 version now I use the CS6 and I really did not expect vectors to be so complicated, I am a designer but I have never worked with vectors.
I think I thought I read that you also plan to do the Commodore systems no matter what the namek friend does, I have something that could happen to you from the amiga 1200 I think it was, when the time comes if it comes I will pass it to you
You have no idea.
What you see in Photoshop is nothing compared to what I see in Illustrator.
Here’s a sample of what the Layers Panel in Illustrator looks like in my DOSBox graphic.
Keep in mind that whenever you see a >
symbol it means that there are hidden objects. This would be at least twice as long if everything was expanded.

Not exactly accurate. I plan to do a couple systems that @TheNamec graciously skipped. I will for sure do an Amiga 3000T or 4000T tower graphic, in the same vein as my DOSBox graphic. I think he has a couple systems in mind. (I will have to compare notes.) I will of course treat anything he has in mind as an official request.
What madness, how many layers , I have never worked with so many layers in photoshop, in fact to open those files he asks me for Illustrator but of course I don’t know how that program works, it is easier for me to open it with photohop.
A lot of work but I think it is worth it, I have not seen anyone make graphics as good as yours in this, those of orionangels are very good but they are not at your level and I hope they do not take offense.
I think that what is commodore should be left for last and that way you give namek time, namek’s work is incredible but just in case it would be good to have another option in case in the end he has problems or ends up canceling the project (I hope no because amiga CD32 looks amazing)
I’m also curious what would come out of you, it could also be a show.
Hey everybody! Here’s a little peek at a new WIP.
The Bandai WonderSwan.
I had high hopes for switching the vertical graphic and the horizontal on the fly with the shader, but I think the core does it using TATE. It will require separating the different aspect roms into folders like FB-Neo.
Unless @HyperspaceMadness can work some magic.
There is no problem, there are 92 games and only 11 or so are vertical, I can leave a list of vertical games here in case anyone is interested.
Looks amazing, very well done!
I do save the presets as game specific for games that work in vertical mode after tweaking settings for vertical use, so no worries!
Yeah, it could be worse, I am glad that MAME works the way it does. I will do a vertical and horizontal preset so people can save content directory presets.
There are a few things bugging me about this still, then I need to rotate and scale it for vertical. (And adjust the highlighting and shadows for that.)
Then I think I can reuse a lot of it for the color version like I did with the Neo Geo Pocket duo.
Hello Duimon.
In principle I want to thank the enormous work that you are doing together with @HyperspaceMadness. I have created this account just to express my gratitude to both of you for the dedication and effort that you make so that this has become the starting point as far as the visualization of the emulation is concerned (at least it´s my opinion)
And if you are still receiving suggestions, I would like to add to the list:
Handhelds: Gamepark GP32, Hartung Gamemaster, Tiger Gamecom, Watara Supervision
Consoles: Bally Astrocade, Casio PV-1000, Emerson Arcadia 2001, Entex Adventure Vision, Epoch Super Cassette vision, Funtech Super Acan, Nintendo Sufami Turbo, RCA Studio 2, V tech Creativision
Computers: Apple 2, Apple 2 GS, Fujitsu FM towns and Fujitsu FM-7
Almost all of these systems are emulated in MAME
At least that’s what I remember right now.
Thank you very much and sorry for my english
Welcome to the forum, and thank you for your kind words.
Wow! That’s quite a list.
While I do intend to do a few MAME Software List machines, it is certainly not my main focus, and I don’t intend to do an exhaustive list.
I will take those into consideration after I am done with all the Retroarch cores.
The fujitsu fm towns is a great system but I have never been able to emulate it with mame in retroarch, if anyone knows how to say it.
Probably some bs, involving bios being placed in a specific ass folder tbh.
Like I remember I had to jump through some hoops for Wii stuff, same with turbografx CD/pc-engine CD. (The turbografx/pc-engine CD issue was the bios being incorrectly named for RA iirc.)
Well, you should seriously consider it because it works, I’ve managed to emulate fmtowns with the mame_current kernel and it’s fantastic.
I don’t know if someone other than me is going to happen to me, I had the mame_current core of mame version 230 which is one of the last, in another version of retroarch it had the same core but with mame version 220 the core of 220 has been used and it’s going great.
MAME makes me I don’t wanna
Tho if you would be so lovely as to cherry pick some parts of the set for me, I wouldn’t be mad at it ROFL.
I’m sending you a message to talk about it in private, he doesn’t want to distort the issue, this is for Duimon’s graphics.
I wasn’t aware that I said no.
I will go testing systems and I will point them out, what I am not going to do is tell you to make a graph for a system that does not work
Please don’t.
I have said I will consider them after I am done with all the cores.
I want the subject to be dropped for now.
