Graphics Card Issue with Lakka

I installed Lakka on my computer just recently and so far things have worked relatively well. I even upgraded the ram and it’s kept going on the same. But I changed out the graphics card yesterday and I’ve run into new a problem. Now whenever it boots up it reaches the Lakka symbol and then just sits there. It never gets to the game playlists or menus. I even tried booting a live version of Linux Mint (just to confirm if the graphics card was working) and it worked fine. It’s honestly comes down to a software issue between Lakka and the new card I installed. If anyone can lend some helpful advice it’ll be much appreciated.

Here are my computer specs:

HP Compaq 6200 Microtower Pro
12 GB of ram
500 GB HD
i5 intel processor
GPU = GeForce GTX 1050

I did run the command in SSH for more info on the graphics card:

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: NVIDIA Corporation GP107 [GeForce GTX 1050] [10de:1c81] (rev a1)
        Subsystem: eVga.com. Corp. GP107 [GeForce GTX 1050] [3842:6150]
        Kernel driver in use: nouveau
01:00.1 Audio device [0403]: NVIDIA Corporation Device [10de:0fb9] (rev a1)

And finally here is the log text:

Oof, yeah, that’s no good. Can you try a nightly build of Lakka? I think that should have a newer kernel/driver that may support that card a little better.

I could definitely give it a shot.

I’m having trouble finding the nightly builds actually. Could you possibly point me in the right direction? And which one should I use with my computer?

One more question that comes to mind. If this doesn’t work is it possible to add drivers to Lakka? Or is that a bad idea?

Try this one: http://nightly.builds.lakka.tv/2018-03-04/Generic.x86_64/Lakka-Generic.x86_64-2.1-devel-20180304204340-r28154-gb552a9a26.img.gz

I tried it using a live boot of the build and it did the exact same thing. Would installing it make any difference besides just getting access to the log file?

Please read this thread.

Thank you.

So I can’t do anything until the next version of Lakka? When will that be? And is there really no workaround?

You can’t do anything except waiting as we follow LibreElec release.

Well that’s not the greatest news but thanks guys for the help at least.
