For those wondering what a handheld one might look like.
I have a 16x9 version for those consoles that use it. I will be posting these as soon as I can. They will be placed in my set in Custom/Console Arcade folder.
Edit: Jump the gun on the 16x9 Arcade a little.
I would not use the console image. It’s pretty cool as before. Continues!
My concern is performance, because with an tilted tube we still have a big loss.
Do you mean by the size of the screen?
No. The tilted tube uses 3D curvature, which has big performance hit.
I could try to create a version that doesn’t use tilt as an alternative.
Edit: I did a remodel of the speakers and just saw that I didn’t resize the holes for the left speaker.
Thanks for the feedback @soqueroeu.
Edit: I went ahead and added the NES Arcade to the repo as a Demo.
I thought a Generic Arcade would be good to have. I designed one with Mega Bezel and wanted to get some feedback before it is set.
After taking the feedback and doing some changes I think it’s time to do the parameter files. I went ahead for customization purposes and split the layers with yellow coloring.
Nice!I liked this idea.
I liked the logo. Do you intend to keep it?
I did. I just placed it in the bottom left so the screen could be bigger. I even found some arcade speaker covers that had an invader on it, so I tried to recreate it.
Edit: Had the wrong color set to the background.
Why, @lfan? I just added lfan’s PC Engine Overlay to the repo.
To give an update on the Console Arcades, I am halfway done with the parameters. I will be uploading them to the repo most likely tomorrow. I have been doing some yard work, so it has been taking longer than it would have otherwise.
I thought I should mention that I am only doing default colors for the Console Arcades. I will be doing variations later when I have more time to do them.
I have also thought of doing Jakks Plug n Play variations based on most of the ones released, if not all. The one I have currently set is themed around Ms. Pac-Man since Duimon’s is based on Mr. Pac-Man.

I have finished with the Console Arcade and added it to the repo. It currently only uses the Standard shader. I will be be including the Lite and Advanced versions and doing different color variations in the future.
After thinking about the Console Arcade and looking at other arcade cabinets, I decided that the tilt was a bad idea. I have come up with some changes and be applying them.
Edit: I have made a few more changes and think its way better than the earlier ones.
