Hgoda90 - Mega Bezel Graphics + Varieties

I am going to go ahead and add Game Boy Pocket and Game Boy Light variations to Console Arcade in the next update as well.

I have been thinking of doing a variation that includes a joystick and buttons, so I am going to try to play around and do it after.

I will be going to rename the OrionsAngel graphics folders and double checking all the Console Arcade graphics names.

The Square Variation of Console Arcade has been added to the repo with some fixes. I decided to do Game Boy Pocket and Light as separate releases, which I will be doing next.

I have updated the Custom Projector koko preset to use straight bezel. I will be adding koko-aio presets to the others in the future.

After the joystick style Console Arcade, I will be doing an koko-aio variation. I haven’t really thought of what to do yet.

Edit: I had a sudden idea of doing Big+Small variations for 3DS and NDS.

A heads up, there will be Console Arcade Default Alts for those systems that have different logo variations and default only. I could also do them for ones that have a few color variations.

While this may work in practice, I’m not sure it works on paper. If it were this easy I’m sure @HyperspaceMadness would have added it back into the base presets.

It was an option in the Mega Bezel a couple of years ago .

I wouldn’t doubt it. The combination only works if the gameboy shader is loaded at the top.

Yeah, the main thing which makes it more complicated is integrating the scaling in the Mega Bezel,and it also needs to sit in a different spot in the chain to support all the features properly.

For example, with it at the beginning of the chain like this you would have the orange Mega Bezel logo pop on top during the intro.

It may be time to try integrating it again though

As stated before I am going to do Game Boy Pocket and Game Boy Light presets for Console Arcade. I have found some presets had the wrong color settings and those will be fixed as well. Mind as well do the Alt presets based on different decals too.

I am wanting to add PAL PC Engine as an PC Engine Alt. I was hoping someone could tell me if the PC Engine CoreGrafx was the proper one. There will also be TurboGrafx as the Alt to TurboGrafx-16 as it was apparently released in Europe temporarily.

PC Engine CoreGrafx II will also be available as [Alt]-[Orange]

For those wondering, after looking around I only found a possibility of adding 8 different alts. The alts would be for Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, JAKKS, NES, PC Engine, TurboGrafx-16, and XBox. If I think of any others they will be included, of course.

Messing around with Console Monitor I am thinking of using Fill Mode Split for 16x9s. It is something that will be added to the list.

I went ahead and changed the Trim for Console Arcade.

3DS and DS Big+Small presets have been added to the repo with some different fixes. The settings will most likely be changed in the future.

I just threw these together real quick before Game Boy since they wouldn’t have taken too long.

Currently working on the Alt variations. I am trying to delay the Game Boys a little bit since they are going to be tedious.

FYI, don’t have two programs that are on the WindowsCast txt list running at the same time. I just learned that lesson the hardway.

Doing the Game Boy Light variations, I thought to remove the Game Boy Bezels on all the Game Boy presets.

Welp, I guess I will be removing the Game Boy bezels and doing the Game Boy Light variations next. If anybody wants the bezel, they can use the Console Monitor presets, which will still contain the bezels.
