Maybe setting the default image filtering in RA video options to linear would help.
This isn’t recommended for The Mega Bezel because it breaks the mipmapping.
Does anyone has a configuration for megatron ntsc in 1080p?
never mind i nailed it
Is it possible to add something as bloom to megatron?
Something like that might go against the design principles and goals of Sony Megatron Colour Video Monitor. Megatron is for those who want accuracy at all costs. You need a bright display which is setup correctly to get all the brightness or glowing you want. If you want Bloom, there are many other shaders available that can do that for you.
i figured out it’s curvature mode
It might help if you include a screenshot illustrating what you are trying to describe as it is not always easy to understand via words alone.
it it like a circle effect which appears when having the curvature activated, when disabled it doesn’t appear, i had already done it
To be specific that is called a Moire effect.
oh so this is the moire effect, thanks buddy, i had completely misunderstood it before
Just a small update on some work behind the scenes.
I’m nearing the end of an uber maintenance reorg of the preset assembly tools and component and shader files. With 190 permutations of the base presets its gotten quite complex and needed simplification to be more manageable (If I count the hours reorging before the last update I’m probably at least 50 hours in)
I think it’s gone in the right direction though because I’ve gotten rid of like 60 files by simplifying some things on the assembly and shaders end.
After this is done some new features can start to appear.
Will this maintenance / reorganizing impact any existing presets that use the current latest version of the shader?
No it should not, all the base presets naming and location should stay the same.
@HyperspaceMadness, I am wondering if you will be keeping Cropping setting with Overscan or not?
Yes we will keep both Cropping and Overscan
Hi @Duimon.
Could you please help with the color adjustment for the GBA_SP, GBC LCD presents.
What parameter should be used (within shared UI) if I want to tweak console color?
Thank you in advance.
The Hue Offset, Saturation, and Brightness parameters of the Device Image Layer.
I’ve noticed that after lowering the saturation quite a bit that the Intro can appear pale and washed out.
Is this somehow different than before? Could you provide some images if it is?
I don’t think so, I was just alluding to the possibility that the Intro Logo being after the Grade Colour Correction in the shader chain could lead to undesirable effects similar to what was taking place with ScaleFX filtering the snow.
It was merely a hint and a heads up.
My NES presets use a large negative value for Saturation which looks great to me for NES games but it seems to affect the Intro Logo in a less desirable way.
This isn’t as noticeable with other presets because I’m usually adding small amounts of Saturation if any.
I can take some pics at some point when I’m in front of the keyboard if you still need me to but I don’t think this might be something to loose much sleep over.
