I’m doing my best on 1080p, I really copied colors, brightness and gamma from my CRT monitor. I don’t know if it looks good…
Hello it’s really good can you do a test but just a little less dark to compare
I’m a 1080p user, on my monitor it looks a little too dark and also very warm, maybe there is an orange tint? here a comparison with 2 of my presets:
in the middle is guest adv and on the right guest’s ntsc
Could anyone recommend a shader/filter combo that makes Super Castlevania IV (SNES) nice and smooth?
Thanks!
You can use either of the SNES presets available in the preset pack below:
CyberLab CRT-Royale 4K SNES_PSX.slangp or CyberLab CRT-Royale 4K SNES_PSX Fine.slangp.
Or the SNES Smooth Neo-GX Ultra preset available here:
Yeah, I realize now, I’ll keep tweaking, I’ll think I will work on the computer better, on mobile phone is more difficult to notice things. Thanks.
I think it looks better now on 1080p…
And just in case someone has a BGR monitor, this pic is with RGB layout.
This is a version of aperture grille using crt-guest-advanced:

I think they look very good but just a bit oversaturated. If you can fine tune that you should be golden!
I think so too!
You’re welcome man!
If I can, I’ll post settings later tonight if it looks ok. I’m not at home right now.
New release: crt-royale-1080p-v11
- Bright color shades were clipping in the last version (fixed now);
- Contrast increased;
Thanks Hyllian! Go to try!
Hey, I liked this. Can I Try?
That’s sexy. The only two things I wish that could be added to your version is the “base mask” setting from the guest shader and also all the new recent ntsc settings from guest to your ntsc royale version.
