Purging of old and outdated topics that clutter the forums?

This was on my mind for years since I’ve used this site. There are many topics/threads that I believe no longer need to be on here since the information and versions are outdated and no longer useful. It ended up cluttering the forums when searching for answers, which then translates to more time spent searching.

For example my topic here would be out of date and no longer needed:

Video ouptut issue 3.5.1

There is a issue of the video output not displaying anything but a blank black screen on my 1080P HD TV. Raspberry Pi 4 using a HDMI cable. Lakka version on the sdcard is a aarch64 stable release. It only displays when you unplug the cable and then plug it back in. I see in this version there are new video options, do any of these need to be changed.

I also had the same concern. It is important to save them because it is a history, that is why versions and tags are used. If the forum was only for user manuals or tutorials it is not important to delete them, but it is also developed.

Although it would be good to be able to “archive”, you can also use the search options, most recent, etc.
