Royale style crt-guest-advanced preset

it’s not perfect, any improvement are welcome

I know there are New CRT shader from Guest + CRT Guest Advanced updates and New CRT shader from Guest + CRT Guest Advanced updates but they not perfect either (at least with 1080 screen)

I hope we can get like 99% similar

well, now it is really closer to https://x.com/CRTpixels/status/1408451743214616587 (aside from my mix of dot mask, slot mask and aperture grille), anyway I may go for these settings for V7 for my presets

I did posted the last update of this attempt in the OP

now it’s more balanced and not a blind imitation (since previous attempt had the colors a bit wrong at 480i)

I will update the “Jobima CRT Preset Royale like guest.slangp” (Hybrid with my preset) in the 3rd post later. Edit: update done

How Graphics in this shader is looking

you should not use upscale

This is not a upscale, it is only changed by shader from original pixel graphics

Seems you disable what make it a crt shader!

Anyway, here the preset in action with PAL VHS cap from 2001 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WClFoyjMo3k

It easy to get 60/50 fps 240p with “SeparateFields().AssumeFrameBased()” in AviSynth/avs+ but it’s not easy to use libretro/retroarch shaders with vhs caps since there are no plugin in AviSynth that do that yet, so you have to do some 240p video files to play them in retroarch and then record that using obs or whatever, so it will be nice someone if port librashader to AviSynth/avs+
