Looking through OrionsAngel Realistic Arcade Overlays topic, I removed all the scanlines from the preset files. I also saw an error with OrionsAngel Console Overlays’ HSM_FRM_OUTER_CORNER_RADIUS. All the changes have been added to the repo.
The TV Background params and a new TubeStaticReflectionImage have been added to the repo.
applying some presets from OrionsAngel - My Realistic Arcade Bezels, I found that the Base_CRT_Presets folder was missing from the path
this is how it should stay #reference “…/…/…/…/…/…/shaders_slang/bezel/Mega_Bezel/Presets/Base_CRT_Presets/MBZ__3__STD__GDV.slangp”
That would be more appropriate. I will update the repo. Thanks Letram.
Edit: The reference paths have been updated.
Everything has been updated. Let me know if you find anything else.
My current To Do List:
- Custom Bezels with Duimon Graphics to Params
- Projection Screen graphic set
- Redo Handheld Arcades
- OrionsAngel Realistic Arcade Overlays Zoomed
For those who don’t know, I added the OrionsAngel Realistic Arcade Directory changes to the repo.
Apparently I forgot to set the PSX presets to have Aspect Orientation set to 1 with lfan System Overlays. I will update them and do a redo of the Directory, so I can get rid of the split of presets based on Ambient Lighting. The split now with lfan will be Thin Bezel and Wide Bezel.
Edit: All of the changes have been added to the repo. It turns out that I also set the Ambient Lighting to the same for both bezels, even though they were set to 1 and 2 before.
I am going to go ahead and add Night version of OrionsAngel Console Overlays to my list. I think I figured out the directory formation to keep the files from being too overwhelming. Hint: Color and Outline folders.
I saw there was a problem with the Duimon Coleco Adam variation of the TM20 preset. I found out that it was using the PVM20 preset as a reference. The changes have been set in the repo.
Individual Variety Packs v1.8.5
I thought since the changes have gotten pretty long might as well do a new release.

Something I will be going with when redoing the handheld Arcade sets. I will be trying to implement the bezels I made for Duimon Handheld Monitor variations for the handhelds into them as well.
I have been working on a redesign idea where the Arcade isn’t real wide. All it is right now is just setting changes and no graphical changes, other than the trim.
I thought of doing them around Candy Cabs but decided against it because of handhelds.
I also have been messing around with the Ambient Lighting settings with Duimon Graphics, trying out a possible Night variation.
I did a 16x9 version of the redesign real quick.
These are of course rough drafts. I won’t be working on making anything final until the Custom Bezels for Duimon’s Graphics are made into params. I have the common settings into params, I just have to remove them from the preset files.
The handhelds will follow the redesign as well. The Gameboys and Game Gear will follow the 4x3 design with their respected bezels, the PSP will follow the 16x9, DS and 3DS horizontal will follow 16x9 and DS and 3DS Vertical will have a special design on their own.
For these ones with the stretched elements on the sides I would recommend trying to set the layer’s Fill Mode to Split to see if that works for you. It would reduce the squishing of the speakers.
That is a good idea! It would save you from having to edit the source image. You would just need to adjust the X scale.
Thanks Hyperspace, changing the setting did help. I still have a little while to decide on everything. I was thinking of using the circle speakers as defaults instead.
That was what I was thinking of doing. It would seem that Hyperspace’s advice would prevent me from having to do that.
