I thought to post, for those that want to do custom Ball Tops, the proper color settings.
Hue: if Hue < 52 than add 308, if Hue >= 52 than subtract 52
Saturation: no change
Brightness: +10
Gamma: 0.45

Stick presets have been added to Console Arcade in the repo with a few fixes as well. I am going to have to recheck the other styles for problems soon.
Yeah that means it has been added to Github repository.
Thanks I’ll have a look…
I had the idea to rename 3DS and DS preset variations. Vertical will be Standard, while Horizontal and Big+Small will combine into Big. The renaming will only apply to my custom made presets and none of the other creators.
3DS and DS changes have been added to the repo.
The current WIP is Nintendo VS System for Console Arcade. I have done blue as the default and will do orange and possibly black. I will release them with DOSBox; strongly thinking of a ffmpeg variation.
Some shaders no longer work, but they do if I retry from the original folder from before, I’ll let you know which, I’m just at work.
Thanks @Big_al, I went ahead and checked the presets. I found Console Arcade PC-FX and the night presets of Mega Bezel Box were the only ones that needed fixing. Just let me know what you found still to verify.
I will be doing the variation of Jakks with wildcard next, sort of. Adding a few games at a time since, from what I can tell, is that there around 40 with MAME. I will convert default to its wildcard equivalent, while keeping default, and Dragon Ball Z first.
To download the release updates follow the GitHub link at the top of this topic
Various basic presets for JAKKS Console Arcade have been added to the repo. Only jak_dbz and jak_mpac params have been added as a start.
@hgoda90 I Had a quick look and here’s what doesn’t work for me.
E:\LaunchBoxX\Emulators\RetroArch\shaders\Mega_Bezel_Packs\Hgoda90-Graphic-Varieties\00 – Mega Bezel Box\Atari – Atari 2600/Default-[Alt]-[Night] and these next ones did work before but not now, there the game gear ones…
E:\LaunchBoxX\Emulators\RetroArch\shaders\Mega_Bezel_Packs\Hgoda90-Graphic-Varieties\00 – Console Arcade\Sega – Game Gear
Retroarch log for Atari 2600
[WARN]
[Shaders]: Could not load root preset for #reference entry: "E:\LaunchBoxX\Emulators\RetroArch\shaders\Params\Mega-Bezel-Box\Night.params".
[ERROR] [Vulkan]: Failed to create preset: "E:\LaunchBoxX\Emulators\RetroArch\shaders\Mega_Bezel_Packs\Hgoda90-Graphic-Varieties\00 -- Mega Bezel Box\Atari -- Atari 2600\Default-[Alt]-[Night].slangp".
[ERROR] [Vulkan]: Failed to create filter chain: "E:\LaunchBoxX\Emulators\RetroArch\shaders\Mega_Bezel_Packs\Hgoda90-Graphic-Varieties\00 -- Mega Bezel Box\Atari -- Atari 2600\Default-[Alt]-[Night].slangp". Falling back to stock.
EDIT… I’ve got the game gear working, it was missing the “Decals” folder, so i took it from the previous working ones… The Decals folder is missing from the zip download…
E:\LaunchBoxX\Emulators\RetroArch\shaders\Mega_Bezel_Packs\Hgoda90-Graphic-Varieties\00 – Console Arcade\res\images\Decals
Cheers
Thanks for the info @Big_al. Looking at the Console Arcade, Game Gear params file had the wrong path for Decals. I didn’t change the path when the Decals folder was moved to global. The Mega Bezel Box fix was added previously.
The decal path changes have been added to the repo.
A:\LaunchBox\Emulators\RetroArch\shaders\Mega_Bezel_Packs\Hgoda90-Graphics-n-Varieties\00 – Console Arcade\res\images\global\decals
Thanks @hgoda90 for that Game Gear working again…
i cannot get any of these to work… E:\LaunchBoxX\Emulators\RetroArch\shaders\Mega_Bezel_Packs\Hgoda90-Graphic-Varieties\Duimon – Mega Bezel Graphics
Duimon own standalone shaders work in the root. E:\LaunchBoxX\Emulators\RetroArch\shaders\Mega_Bezel_Packs\Duimon-Mega-Bezel
Sorry for the messages, just going through some.
Can you point me to one that doesn’t work specifically? The ones I tested all worked fine.
