Hgoda90 - Mega Bezel Graphics + Varieties

I found a problem that I did with the Console Arcade. I set the Smooth presets to use Lite before, which doesn’t exist, and changed it to NTSC. I have also completed the Glass preset settings and just have to create the slangp files.

I thought of adding color variations back to Duimon’s GBA SP graphic after Mega Bezel Glass variations. I will be going more along basic color variations instead of specific GBA SP handheld color variations.

I have added the Glass variations to the repo under Custom/Glass. It took a little longer since I didn’t think of making them for Arcade games.

I had an idea of doing variations for Split Screen games. I am kind of hesitant on doing them since it would split the menu of the game as well.

Edit: Made a few changes

My standing to do list:

  1. Duimon’s Game Boy Advance SP Graphic variations: Blue, Black, Gold, Pink, Purple, Orange, Silver, and Green
  2. Split-Screen variations
  3. Duimon DS color variation changes: Green, Yellow, Blue, Orange, Red, White, Black, and Pink
  4. Console Arcade No Reflection variations

*GBA SP and DS color variations are subject to change

I am also thinking of changing the Handheld Monitor variations I did under Duimon’s Graphics to be designed around actual monitors. I am wanting to create Candy Cab variations with Console Arcade some time in the future.

I had to test out the PVM20 to see what would happen with the Split-Screen. I am just going to be doing the split-screen variations with the standard Bezel variations only.

I had some concerns but I am happy to say that this will work with my soon to be released new presets.

A word of caution that the new PVM20s are not as wide as the old and the screen size is different.

You will have some updates to make after they are released.

Wow @hgoda90! I must admit that this looks pretty amazing! What a cool idea and it actually works! If only you could get a little more horizontal stretching in just to get the aspect ratio in both screens to be a little more accurate that would be the icing on the cake!

Shoutout again to @HyperspaceMadness for this HSM Mega Bezel Reflection Shader awesomeness!!

I forgot to mention that I want to set lfan System Overlays and Custom Projector to use the Standard, Advanced and Smooth variations that I made with Console Arcade in a future upload. And thinking about it the Double PVM20 would be better looking than the Double Bezel.

FYI, I haven’t started the Split-Screen variations as of yet.

Edit: Vertical Split-Screen just to give an idea.

After messing around I think the PVM20 Split-Screen would best used with the PVM20 backgrounds. I am not going to be doing the DS color variations and Split-Screen variations until Duimon releases his new presets.

I am going to just go ahead and do the No Reflection variations first and follow with the Standard, Advanced, and Smooth variations for the prementioned presets.

The No Reflection variation of Console Arcade has been added to the repo for those interested.

Well, I was going to do the variations for lfan’s System Overlays and thought of a different way to sort the variations. I will be doing the variations still, of course, and be changing the others I did before to the newer way.

Newer sorting

The Advanced, Smooth and Standard variations have been added to Custom and lfan System Overlay in the repo.

I thought to add the Split-Screen variations as well to TM20 and just put the files inside the PVM20 and TM20 folders. I have found better settings to fit a wider aspect ratio for both screens.

this Idea is great if you have those games that allways show all four splits on n64 :open_mouth: juste erase the other wiht the crop and offset etc.

Can you tell me a game like that so I can check them out, cause I honestly don’t know any that are like that?

starfox 64 is one of them and there are more with this “gimmick”

It’s simple enough, just crop out what is unwanted.
